What is MicroTox®?
MicroTox® is an innovative method of administering Botox. It helps to accelerate the effects in targeted areas of the face, which results in a quicker tightening and lifting effect in the skin.
This technique was pioneered by Leslie Fletcher, RN, MSN, AGNP-BC, from California. Leslie is an international expert on the use of injectable treatments like Botox and is a member of the International Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ISPAN) and the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists (SPSSCS). MicroTox vs. Botox: What’s the difference?
The traditional method of giving Botox injections involves injecting the medicine directly into the muscles to temporarily stop their movement. This helps to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and fine lines in the treated area. The effect takes a few days to appear, and most patients see the final results of their Botox® treatment 3-7 days later.
With MicroTox®, you don’t need to wait for 3-7 days for the Botox to take effect. Your results are much quicker, and some can even see the effects before they walk out of the office with smoother, tighter skin.
The other difference between MicroTox® and traditional Botox treatment is that the former is a specialized technique that delivers the Botox directly below the skin’s surface. How does MicroTox® work?
